The Solution to Parent-Child Conflict

Series: Exodus

Dr. John MuhlfeldMarch 9, 2014Passage: Exodus 13:1-16

Parents get into trouble when they think their kids exist for mom and dad’s satisfaction and glory. Kids get into trouble when they think they exist for their own satisfaction and glory. When both of these things happen at once intense conflict can result, but God shows us that we were meant to live neither for our parent’s glory nor for our own glory, but for the glory of the One who redeemed us by grace and has set us apart for Himself through the blood of His Son.
