Rick Castor

Deacon

Deacon Rick Castor was raised in a Christian home and made an early profession of faith in Christ through the Sunday School ministry at Hilltown Baptist Church in Bucks County. His family left Hilltown Baptist in the 1970s and became members of First Baptist Church of Doylestown. During the late ‘80s and early ’90s, he began to read publications written from a Reformed perspective – most notably those of Ligonier Ministries and the writings and radio ministry of R.C. Sproul. These influences nurtured a desire to find a church whose worship and teaching was more in step with Reformed theology and guided by the Westminster Standards. After exploring several Presbyterian churches, Rick and his wife Katey were led to Covenant and transferred their membership from First Baptist Church of Doylestown in 1996.  Since that time, Rick has served multiple terms as deacon, and with God’s help has endeavored to faithfully attend to the duties of that office. Rick enjoys picture framing with his wife, woodworking, furniture repair, antique clock repair and anything mechanical. He also loves history and especially enjoys local history.
