A true encounter with the resurrected Lord Jesus from the Scriptures always fires our souls and launches us into His service in ways that are anything but passive. The disciples on the road to Emmaus longed to stay with Jesus and couldn’t wait to tell others about Him. The same is true of everyone who walks with the risen Savior today.
