No one engages in a trust fall unless they believe the people behind them will catch them, but it is still hard to lean back in your helplessness. In that instance, faith fuels action that builds trust and results in strengthened relationships. In chapter 4, Esther must choose between succumbing to fear or taking a leap of faith to trust the unseen God for her deliverance. As we all must do, she entrusts herself to the One whose Son was willing to not only possibly die for His people, but certainly do so, so that we might trust, follow, and live in Him.
