A Study of Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi

Jeremiah wrote, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.’” (Jer. 6:16). All the pathways of Scripture are truly life-giving. Yet many sections of God’s word, particularly the latter (or “minor”) prophets, remain virtually unknown to many of God’s people.

Join us as we walk the ancient paths of Scripture that were initially written to God’s people after their return from exile yet before the coming of our Savior. Haggai and Malachi offer unvarnished admonition that, when heeded by God’s grace, produces much growth in godliness. Zechariah reveals the glory of God in pictures and images giving hope and direction to God’s people in the midst of many trials. All three vividly anticipate the Savior who would fulfill God’s covenant and bring ultimate salvation to His people.

Will you walk the ancient paths of God’s word? God has promised to bless the journey. Let us prayerfully embark together!
